Our Chapter

The Duplin County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on March 12, 2000, at James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville, North Carolina. Soror Mary B. Sutton, South Atlantic Regional Director, officiated the chartering ceremony. Twenty-nine sorors came together to form the new chapter, which serves Duplin County and Northern Pender County. Since its chartering, DCAC has remained committed to the ideals and principles upon which the sorority was founded. The chapter quickly made its presence known in the community and the county.
